How to turn a Google review into a social post with Claude, step by step
- Download the free Skill. Grab the Review Highlight Posts Skill from WhereToBegin.ai. It saves a single file to your Downloads folder. A Skill is Claude's name for an automation recipe.
- Install the Skill in Claude. Open Claude on a computer, go to Customize, open Skills, click Add, then Upload skill, and choose the file you just downloaded. Full steps are below.
- Ask Claude to build the graphic. Start a new chat and say: turn this review into a graphic for social media. Claude checks its Skills, finds the recipe, and takes over from there.
- Give Claude your website. Paste your website address. Claude reads the site to pick up your brand colors so the finished card matches the rest of your marketing.
- Drag in your logo. Drag and drop a PNG version of your logo straight into the chat. A PNG keeps the transparent background, so the logo sits cleanly on the card.
- Screenshot the review and drop it in. Open your Google reviews, pick the one you want, take a screenshot of it, drag it into the chat, and hit enter. Claude reads the quote and the star rating off the image.
- Download the finished post. Claude returns the card with your logo, your colors, the stars, and the review copy. Click Download to save it, then post it on LinkedIn, Instagram, or Facebook.
- Save your brand into the Skill. Claude offers to store your logo and colors in the Skill. Say yes, then click the button to update the Skill. From then on, a review screenshot is the only thing you need to hand it.
A Skill is an automation recipe you install once
Claude Skills are recipes. You write down how to do a job one time, or you install one that somebody already wrote, and from then on Claude runs it on command without being re-taught. Think of a recipe card pinned to your kitchen wall. You do not reinvent the dish every time, you follow the card.
Review Highlight Posts is one of those pre-written recipes, and it is free. It knows the layout of a good review graphic: the quote, the reviewer's first name, the star rating, and your logo, sized for social. That is why the finished cards come out consistent instead of slightly different every time you ask.
You never have to name the Skill when you want to use it. Describe what you want in plain English and Claude reads the context of the conversation to work out which recipe fits. In the video you can watch Claude decide for itself, and the chat shows a line reading that it ran the review highlight posts Skill.
Install the Skill first
Download the Skill, then install it in Claude. These are the same four steps taught in Lesson 2 of the WhereToBegin.ai course:
- Click the Customize icon (the one that looks like a toolbox, on the left side of your screen)
- Open the Skills section
- Click Add (top right corner of the Skills screen), then Upload skill
- Choose the Review Highlight Posts file you just downloaded from your Downloads folder
If the buttons look different from what you expect, the Skills screen is still the place to be. Anything you upload there lands in your own personal Skill library, visible only to you.
Installing a Skill needs a computer. On a phone or tablet you can build a Skill but you cannot install one yet, so save this part for whenever you are next at a desk. Once it is installed it stays installed, and you run it as often as you like.
The three things Claude needs
Once the Skill is in place, tell Claude to turn a review into a graphic for social media, then hand it three things. First, your website. Claude reads the site and pulls your brand colors from it, which is what keeps the card looking like it came from your business and not from a template.
Second, your logo. Use a PNG and drag it straight into the chat. Third, the review itself. Open your Google reviews, scroll to one you like, take a screenshot of it, and drag that in too. There is no retyping. Claude reads the quote, the name, and the star count off the screenshot.
The example in the video uses TextPro Insurance, whose site runs red, white, and blue. Claude pulled those colors off the website, placed the TextPro logo, laid in five stars, and set the review copy, all without being told what any of the brand colors were.
Under a minute, start to finish
The clock in the video is the part worth watching. It reads 7:16 p.m. when the Skill starts, and it still reads 7:16 p.m. when the finished graphic appears. This one took less than a minute.
What comes back is a finished social card, not a draft you have to fix. Click Download and it saves, ready to post on LinkedIn, Instagram, or Facebook. The whole job, which for most owners means opening a design tool, hunting for the logo, matching the colors by eye, and pasting the quote, collapses into one message with three attachments.
Teach it your brand once
After the first card, Claude asks whether it should save your logo and colors into the Skill so next time you can jump straight to pasting a review. Say yes.
Claude then gives you a button to update the Skill. Click update, and the chat confirms with a check mark that the Skill was updated. Watch for this: Claude's message says to click save on the file above, but the button you actually want is the one to update the Review Highlight Posts Skill.
From that point on the Skill carries your brand. The only thing you hand it is a screenshot of the next review, and every post you make comes out uniform, on brand, and under a minute apiece. That is the whole point of a Skill. Install once, run forever.
